	Do not redistribute the data Registered users are granted a limited license to use these data for academic research. Under this limited license you may not redistribute the data to others.

	NAPP data cannot be used for genealogical purposes. Our agreement with the Church of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) stipulates that we will distribute the NAPP data only for social science research (including academic, policy, journalist, and non-profit research). Our continuing provision of the data for social science research relies on the condition that the data may not be used for genealogical use. Misusing the data constitutes a violation of the user agreement and may lead to professional censure, loss of employment, or civil prosecution under relevant national and international laws, and to sanctions against your institution, at the discretion of the University of Minnesota and the other institutions collaborating on the North Atlantic Population Project.
